Before buying a used electric magnetic therapy device!
When selling second-hand medical equipment, you must notify the manufacturer.
In recent years, there has been an increase in cases where these devices are purchased from second-hand specialist dealers on the Internet, private auctions, etc. Electromagnetic therapy devices are classified as "specially controlled medical devices" under the law, and their sale (including gifting or lending) requires appropriate management, regardless of whether they are new or used.
In the case of second-hand sales, you are required to notify the manufacturer (manufacturer/distributor) and comply with our instructions.
*Article 170 of the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Act is applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 178 of the Enforcement Regulations.
When purchasing an electro-magnetic therapy device through an internet auction, please make sure to check with the bidder or seller for a "Notice to the Manufacturer." In the case of second-hand products, the quality of the device varies greatly depending on the usage and management environment. As a manufacturer, we absolutely do not recommend using a device without proper maintenance.
When purchasing a second-hand product, we advise you to always check the following points with the dealer.
Points to check before purchasing
- Have you notified the manufacturer (our company) of the medical device in question in advance that you are selling it second-hand, received instructions on ensuring quality and precautions to take when selling it, and complied with those instructions?
●Are all accessories such as instruction manuals and cautionary notes included?
●Replacement parts will be provided by the manufacturer for 10 years after manufacture. The product liability (PL) law expiration date and the period for which replacement parts are available are both 10 years after manufacture.
*Please note that it is difficult to determine the period of use in online auctions, etc.
