Basic knowledge of magnetism

20240315-1.jpeg

Energy is an important source of life for living organisms on Earth.

First, let's understand the properties of magnetism, and then we'll explain how it can be applied to treatment!

Fundamental properties of magnetism

■Magnetics has north and south poles.

■Repulsion and attraction □North and south poles attract each other.
□North poles repel each other, and south poles repel each other.

■Attracts iron and nickel.

■Gauss 1 Gauss ⇒ This refers to the state in which one magnetic field line passes through an area of 1 cm square.
The Earth is also a large magnet, with an average magnetic field of 0.5 gauss.

■Tesla Recently, with the adoption of the International System of Units (SI units), the unit tesla is more commonly used than gauss.
□10,000 Gauss = 1 Tesla (T)
□1 gauss = 0.1 millitesla (mT)
□800 gauss = 80 millitesla (mT)

What is an electric (alternating current) magnetic therapy device?

■There are two types of magnetic therapy devices

If you hear about an electric magnetic therapy device and think, "I know that!", you're probably...
There are no people there, are there?

Magnetic therapy devices can be broadly divided into two types: those that use permanent magnets and those that use electromagnets (alternating current magnets), but most of the devices that are widely known today are permanent magnet therapy devices.

A famous one is a type with a permanent magnet attached to a bandage...I'm sure you're all familiar with that, right?

We also handle permanent magnet treatment devices, but our most popular product is the electric magnetic treatment device, which uses electromagnets to generate alternating magnetic fields.

Difference between permanent magnets and AC magnets

The magnetic field emitted by both permanent magnets and electromagnets is the same, and they have the same basic effect of improving blood circulation and relieving stiffness.
So what is the difference? There are two major differences.

Difference 1: The reach is different

In the case of permanent magnets, even if the magnetic field is quite strong, the magnetic field only reaches close to the surface of the body, and if the area of stiffness is a little deeper, it will not reach. Not only stiffness, but also areas with poor circulation are not easily located on the surface of the body, right? (Of course, permanent magnet treatment devices can be quite effective depending on how they are used. Please refer to the magnetic goods section for more information on this.)

So what about electromagnets? They can reach "almost anywhere."

I can't say "Anywhere!" for sure, because, for example, "I wonder about sumo wrestlers?"
That's pretty much what it means. When you're massaging yourself, have you ever thought, "What I really want to loosen up is just a little further! Just a little further!!!"? An electric magnetic therapy device using electromagnets is perfect for those times.

Difference 2: How to achieve the effect

Permanent magnet treatment devices "cannot be effective unless blood is flowing!!!"

"Poor blood flow"
This is a medical device used for poor circulation.

So, what about electric magnetic therapy devices? There is a fundamental difference: "It is the magnetic field that moves, so blood flow has nothing to do with it!!"

Improved blood circulation as seen through thermography
*When blood circulation improves, the body's surface temperature rises, which appears red on the thermograph.

An old and new treatment: magnetic therapy

Magnetic therapy has a long history, having been practiced since before the Common Era. However, it wasn't until the 20th century that serious research began into the relationship between magnetism and the human body. Humans naturally have a weak electrical current running through them, and it has been discovered that applying a magnetic field to the human body improves blood circulation.
Magnetic therapy can improve blood circulation by utilizing the effects of magnetism.

Soken Medical's approach to health

Health is not simply the absence of disease, but the ability to adapt to society both physically and mentally.
WHO (World Health Organization)

The causes of the disease may be inherited familial tendencies, unknown causes,
There are various causes, such as viruses and bacteria entering the body.

Illnesses caused by viruses and bacteria, such as colds

It mainly occurs when a person's immune system weakens.

Furthermore, humans are naturally equipped with a "natural healing power" that allows them to heal themselves from illness and injury, but if this power is weak, illnesses may not be cured easily or may worsen.

Health is not simply the absence of disease.

Health Barometer

Below are Soken Medical's barometers of health.

① Food tastes good. ② I sleep well. ③ I have regular bowel movements. ④ I don't get tired easily, or I feel better after a good night's sleep. ⑤ I don't catch colds. ⑥ My weight doesn't change. ⑦ I enjoy every day.

Promoting good health means building mental strength, self-immunity, and natural healing powers.
Isn't it about making it even stronger?

Proper diet creates clean, powerful blood and body fluids

1. First of all, eat three balanced meals a day and lead a regular life!

2. Re-recognize the function of blood

Red blood cells...
Red blood cells transport oxygen using hemoglobin. They are flat, doughnut-shaped with a concave center, and highly flexible, allowing them to change shape and pass through tiny capillaries (1/20 the width of a human hair).

platelet…
It works together with components in plasma to coagulate blood and stop bleeding. The formation of blood clots to stop bleeding is a good thing, but if this goes too far, it can cause new problems such as thrombosis.

plasma…
Approximately 90% of plasma is water, with the rest mainly consisting of proteins. Plasma circulates throughout the body, carrying nutrients, ions, water, hormones, etc., and carrying away carbon dioxide, waste products, and excess water. It also plays a role in regulating body temperature, protecting the body, and stopping bleeding.

White blood cells...
The main function of white blood cells is to distinguish between self and non-self, protect the self, and attack non-self.Specifically, they have two main functions: "dealing with bacteria, foreign substances, tumor cells, etc. that enter the body" and "creating immunity to protect the body."

Lymphocytes…
It attacks all foreign substances, but is particularly effective against small foreign substances such as viruses and tumor cells. It is activated when the parasympathetic nervous system is dominant (relaxed state).
◆T cells control the entire immune system. T cells are the fighting force that attach to and kill foreign substances, and at the same time, they are the command center of the entire immune system.
◆B cells are cells that attack foreign substances by releasing weapons called antibodies.
◆NK cells are the first line of defense for the immune system and directly attack viruses and cancer cells.

Granulocytes...
It mainly attacks bacteria and is activated when the sympathetic nervous system is dominant (in a state of tension).
◆Neutrophils engulf and kill bacteria.
◆Eosinophils attack parasites and control allergic reactions.
◆Halophils appear to be involved in immunity, but the details are unknown.

Monocytes…
Monocytes exist within blood vessels, and macrophages exit the blood vessels.
Their main job is to eat up bacteria, viruses, and dead cells that have entered the tissues.
Eating too much bad cholesterol can lead to arteriosclerosis.

Clean and powerful blood circulation

Powerful blood...
Blood that functions properly

3. Build up your strength and get your blood flowing through appropriate exercise.

If your blood is clean and strong, it will flow smoothly when you exercise.

It's hard to find time in your daily life to do proper exercise.

There are many reasons why exercise is difficult, such as: ・Sitting in front of a computer every day at work ・Not having time to exercise due to childcare ・Not having the stamina to exercise after illness ・Not being able to move from a sleeping position

But don't give up.

The electric magnetic therapy devices Soken and Soken Relax can help with this.

This is an alternating current magnetic field generated by a soken using household electricity.
This magnetism changes its strength in response to the flow of electricity, and its north and south poles alternate, moving back and forth within the body. This improves blood circulation in various parts of the body and relieves stiffness.

It's like a shower of magnetic fields.

The magnetic field of a magnetic shower spreads over a wide area and reaches deep into the body.

We recommend using it not only for special treatments, but also on a daily basis to maintain enjoyable, beautiful health.
